Today, I want to introduce you to my children. It is necessary so that you can become familiar with them and know which one I am talking about because aside from my husband and I they are the main characters in my book of life.
I often get the question, “how did you do it to not go crazy with 7 children”? Well, my answer is I am not completely sure that I have not gone crazy. Ha! In all honesty, it has not been easy, but I would not change anything. So that you can gain some perspective on the dynamics of my family let me tell you what their ages are right now. The age gaps are not much. My eldest son is twenty-two, followed by another son aged twenty-one, then the following 5 are girls aged 17, 14, 13, 12, and lastly 7. I will not lie to you and tell you that I have perfect and proper children, but they are great kids. I am blessed.
So here we go. The eldest of my children is Leon. He is serious, reserved, and stoic. It makes sense he went into the military. He is the one that tries to guide the rest of my children. My younger son is Fabian. He is lighthearted and has a great sense of humor. My third born child is my eldest daughter, Layla. She is an introvert, very artistic and as quiet as she is she has very loud opinions. After her there is Josie. She is my worrywart. She worries about everything and everyone. She strives to make people happy. Libby is my fifth child. She is my mini me. She looks like me, but her character is her own. She is loud and has a sense of humor and she is quiet and serious when she must be. She is my fashionista. Then there is Kailey. Where do I begin with Kailey? Ha! She is my strong willed one. She speaks her mind. She has her views and opinions, and she will not change them to fit in or make anyone happy. She is relentless when it comes to her goals. The youngest of them all is Chloe. From her birth she has been spunky. She loves to dance and sing, and she can learn lyrics or movie lines quickly. She is our own entertainer.
Phew! Now we can begin with the story telling.
Note: I will be posting Monday’s, Wednesday’s, and Friday’s unless I feel I have to share something exciting with you.
